What is The Upper Room?

It is a Christian community based in South San Francisco California, USA. Upper Room is dedicated for prayer, intercession, supplication, and praise news. During the early time of the church, the upper room was mentioned as a gathering place in Acts 1:13-14 NKJV “And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas, the son of James. These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers. “It is a place in the upper part of the house and where the disciples were essentially having a “church service” as we call it today.

The Vision: To be a place to gather for Christians to pray for one another’s concerns and burdens and share praises and thanksgiving for answered prayers. “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” (1 John5:14-15)It’s

Objectives: It will be a link for individuals needing prayers and for prayer warriors. A person can post a prayer request, and any member can commit to pray for it. On a regular basis, exhortation will be published, and urgent events/prayer concerns we need to pray and thank God for will be posted.”And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
